No One Sat Apart

By midday, the space near the mosque would slowly fill. People arrived from different places—some known, some new. They came with different backgrounds, different ways of living, and different beliefs. Yet, when they gathered there, those differences did not stand out.

Food would be brought and placed together. There was no arrangement of who should sit where. No one was asked to stay aside.  People sat where there was space. Some sat close, some a little apart, but there was no separation in intent.

Sai Baba sat among them, as he always did. He did not direct anyone. He did not explain anything. There were no instructions about equality. Yet, the atmosphere itself made it unnecessary.

Food was shared. Water was passed from one to another. Hands moved without hesitation. No one asked who the other was. For those who came with certain ideas, something quietly shifted. Not through words, but through being part of it.

When they left, they carried more than just the memory of a meal. Something within had become simpler.

Moral

Where there is true presence, division does not arise.
